Photo Essay: A short break in Serbia May 9, 2015 Many of us only know Serbia for one thing and that is the Kosovo conflict. While searching for somewhere to go for the August Bank holiday we stumbled across flights to Belgrade at the right time and (reasonably) right price… So we organised a 5 day trip out of it, at fairly short notice. The more we looked into Serbia the more we realised there was far more there than we ever dreamed of; a modern western capital, castles in the east, mountains and bears in the west. We only had a short time so chose west and headed for Tara National Park, on the border with Montenegro. We certainly weren’t disappointed!
